Revolut Business Pricing Explained – Don't Overpay for the WRONG Plan
Trying to figure out which Revolut Business plan is right for you? With four different tiers — Basic, Grow, Scale, and Enterprise — it can be hard to know what you actually need.
In this guide, we break down every plan in plain English so you can make a confident decision without overpaying. Check out the Revolut Business partner link to get started — they occasionally offer a sign-up bonus through partner links.
1. What is Revolut Business?
Revolut Business is a business banking platform that lets you hold, send, and exchange money in multiple currencies — all from one account.
It supports 25 currencies and lets you open separate global accounts (for example, a USD account, a EUR account, and a CHF account). You can then exchange between those accounts directly inside the app.
It is used by freelancers, startups, agencies, and larger companies alike — and the plan you choose determines which features and limits you get access to.
2. Revolut Business Plans and Pricing Overview
There are four Revolut Business plans available:
| Plan | Monthly Price |
|---|---|
| Basic | $10/month |
| Grow | $40/month |
| Scale | $140/month |
| Enterprise | Custom (from ~$750/month) |
You can upgrade or downgrade between plans at any time, which gives you flexibility as your business grows.
Important: All prices and features mentioned here are based on information available at the time of filming. Revolut updates its plans from time to time, so always check the official pricing page for the latest information.
3. Currency Exchange Limits on Each Plan
One of the biggest differences between the Revolut Business plans is the monthly currency exchange allowance — how much you can convert between currencies at no extra cost.
- Basic: €1,000/month
- Grow: €20,000/month
- Scale: €80,000/month
Once you exceed your monthly allowance, a 0.6% fee applies to any additional exchanges. If you exchange outside of market hours, that fee jumps to 1%. So always try to do your currency exchanges during regular market hours.
4. International and Local Transfers
International transfers (cross-border bank transfers) are where the plan differences really start to matter.
- Basic: 0 free international transfers — each one costs $50
- Grow: 5 free international transfers/month — then $50 each
- Scale: 25 free international transfers/month — then $50 each
If your business sends money abroad regularly, the Basic plan can get expensive very fast.
For local transfers (domestic bank transfers within your country), the limits are:
- Basic: 10 free/month — then €0.20 each
- Grow: 100 free/month — then €0.20 each
- Scale: 1,000 free/month — then €0.20 each
Transfers between Revolut users (via their unique Revtag) are always free on every plan — similar to how PayPal works between friends.
5. Cards and Spending Controls
Every plan includes physical corporate cards (plastic) and virtual corporate cards. Here is what differs:
Metal cards:
- Basic: not included — you can buy one for $49
- Grow: 1 complimentary metal card included
- Scale: 2 metal cards included
Virtual corporate cards: Up to 50 per team member on all plans — great for assigning a separate card to each SaaS subscription.
Spending in foreign currencies: The card automatically deducts from the matching currency balance. For example, paying in EUR uses your EUR account balance.
ATM withdrawals: A 2% fee applies per withdrawal on all plans. Withdrawing 1,000 in cash costs you 20 in fees — keep that in mind if you regularly need physical cash.
Custom card branding (adding your company logo) is only available on the Scale and Enterprise plans.
6. Team Features and Expense Management
All Revolut Business plans support unlimited team members — there is no per-seat charge.
Basic expense management features are available on every plan. But several advanced tools are only unlocked from the Grow plan upward:
- Custom spend approvals: Set approval rules before or after spending happens — Grow and Scale only.
- Permission levels: Assign different access rights to different team members — Grow and Scale only.
- Cash flow analytics: Track spending across accounts — Grow and Scale only.
- Bulk transfers: Pay up to 1,000 recipients at once across multiple currencies — Grow and Scale only.
If you manage a team and need spending oversight, the Basic plan will feel limiting quite quickly.
7. Investments, Integrations, and API Access
Revolut Business lets you buy treasury bills directly inside the platform on all plans. However, limit and stop orders for those investments are only available on the Grow and Scale plans.
For integrations, every plan lets you connect accounting software, HR platforms, and business apps. But custom API access is only available from the Grow plan upward — so if you need to build custom automations or connect proprietary tools, the Basic plan won't cut it.
8. Perks and Rewards on Revolut Business
Revolut Business includes a rewards program with perks like airport lounge access and temporary WeWork co-working space access in your city.
These perks are only available on the Grow and Scale plans — not on Basic.
The specific rewards can change over time, so check the current benefits directly on the Revolut Business pricing page to see what's included when you sign up.
9. Which Revolut Business Plan Should You Choose?
Here is a quick way to think about it:
Basic ($10/month) — Good for freelancers or sole traders who mostly operate in one currency and rarely make international transfers.
Grow ($40/month) — The sweet spot for most small businesses. You get 5 free international transfers, 100 free local transfers, €20,000 in currency exchange allowance, and access to team controls and perks.
Scale ($140/month) — Best for growing companies with higher transfer volumes, large teams that need advanced spending controls, and businesses that exchange large amounts of currency regularly.
Enterprise (from ~$750/month) — For larger organizations that need a dedicated account manager and fully customized terms.
If you are unsure, start with Grow. You can always downgrade to Basic if you find you don't need those features — or upgrade to Scale as your business grows.
10. Revolut Business vs Traditional Business Banking
Traditional business bank accounts typically charge fixed monthly fees, require in-person branch visits, and offer little support for multi-currency operations.
Revolut Business is fully digital, available on both mobile and desktop, and built for companies that operate internationally. The ability to hold balances in 25 currencies and exchange between them inside the same app is a major advantage for any business dealing with international clients or suppliers.
The trade-off is that Revolut is not a traditional bank in every market — always verify deposit protection rules in your country.
11. Is Revolut Business Good for Freelancers?
Yes — the Basic plan at $10/month gives freelancers a low-cost way to separate personal and business finances.
You get a physical card, virtual cards, multi-currency accounts, and free Revolut-to-Revolut transfers. For freelancers who invoice clients in one or two currencies and don't send many international wire transfers, it covers the essentials.
If you start working with international clients regularly and need to wire money abroad often, upgrading to Grow makes more financial sense than paying $50 per international transfer on Basic.
12. How Much Does Revolut Business Cost?
The four Revolut Business plans are priced as follows:
- Basic: $10/month
- Grow: $40/month
- Scale: $140/month
- Enterprise: Custom pricing (reported to start around $750/month)
All plans are billed monthly and you can switch between them at any time. There is no long-term contract required.
Beyond the monthly fee, watch out for: the 0.6% out-of-allowance currency exchange fee, the 50 per international wire transfer (beyond your plan's included transfers), the 0.20 per local transfer (beyond your limit), and the 2% ATM withdrawal fee.
